CaP.CULTourELLE - Women's trips
group trips as well as individual trips by women, for women, with women
More than 10 years ago, we both - Pia Leydolt-Fuchs and Carina Kurta - founded our label CaP.CULT. In these last years, we have got to know countless inspiring personalities.

It is striking how travel behaviour has changed over the years - especially that of women! We have been able to show "our" Marseille to more and more women travelling alone, but also to groups of women only, and to show them around the Provence. There has always been a very special spirit and boundless curiosity, which we would now like to give a name to:

CaP.CULTourELLE
by women, for women, with women

With CaP.CULTourELLE we want to especially address women who want to discover Marseille and Provence as solo travelllers or who want to join other women for a trip.

We are offering half-day and full-day tours, as well as individual and group trips lasting several days for friends, mothers and daughters, sisters, aunts and nieces, for solo travellers and company trips for women, as well as for female pupils and students.

Our aim is to offer group trips as well as individual trips - by women, for women, with women - which are intellectually and culturally inspiring, thus connecting women and, of course will be much fun!
In doing so, we are planning to explore the city and the region in general as well as follow the footsteps of locally based women: Women artists, female gallery owners, architects, chefs, entrepreneurs and more.
Yoga as well as various other workshops led by women are also on the programme!

AARHUS_Kulturhauptstadt Europas 2017. Ein Fussgängerübergang in den Regenbogenfarben auf dem Dach des AROS Kunstmuseum von Olafur Eliasson.

AARHUS - KULTURHAUPTSTADT 2017

LEEUWARDEN - KULTURHAUPTSTADT 2018 & ROTTERDAM, GRONINGEN

Food tours in Marseille: "La cuisine locale"

La cuisine marseillaise - or: Marseille for Foodies

Marseille is definitely worth a culinary trip. The diversity of the city is particularly reflected in its gourmet variety. From traditional French cuisine to kosher snacks and Algerian tajine stews, everything can be found here. The daily market in the Noailles district or the fish market at the nearby Vieux Port are just a few excellent opportunities to see for yourself or to stock up on fresh ingredients.

However, anybody who really wants to get to know the city, the people and the cultures, join on a city walk, organised by CaP.CULT, with stops at selected pâtisseries, restaurants, bistros or pastis and wine bars that will spoil you with multicultural delicacies and local specialties.

We want to discover the sensual diversity of Marseille in a social, local and sustainable way.

Paul Cezanne 2025 - Aix-en-Provence

Reopening 2025: mansion, studio and international exhibition

The city of Aix-en-Provence is offering a major event dedicated to the painter Paul Cezanne (1839-1906) from June 2025. Cezanne was born and died in Aix, which with its surrounding landscapes and the Saint-Victoire mountain, became a place of myth thanks to his and Art and was the setting for his entire life.

More than just a place to live, the Bastide Jas de Bouffan is a veritable laboratory where Cezanne experimented with his art for almost 40 years, between 1859 and 1899. Visitors can see the first restored rooms, such as the artist's first studio, the large Provençal kitchen and Madame Cezanne's bedroom. The gardens of the manor house will also be reopened to visitors: On the 5-hectare grounds, you can follow an art trail to discover the same landscapes that Cezanne saw and painted. In response to the gradual opening of the artist's family residence and his studio in Les Lauves, the Musée Granet in Aix-en-Provence is presenting an international exhibition, “Cezanne au Jas de Bouffan”, with around 130 works by the artist. (June 28 to October 12, 2025)
