Pia Leydolt-Fuchs

*1979 in Vienna (AT), lives in Marseille

Beside her successfully completed academic studies of Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, specializing in public management, Pia Leydolt-Fuchs completed a course for PR in Art, Politics, and Economy. In addition to a number of years of professional experience in different art and culture institutions, e.g. as press officer and person in charge for the entire range of the press at the Linz 2009 European Capital of Culture Programme-Organisation (2007-2010), she also has been responsible for Press, Marketing and Sponsoring of the Wiener Secession, Association of Visual Artists, as well as freelancer in the field of public relations for several architectural projects and exhibitions for several years, she studies a certified, continuing education of Culture and Media Management at the University for Music and Theatre in Hamburg, Germany. 2017 Pia Leydolt-Fuchs was member of the EU-expert panel for the European Heritage Label (EHL) and from 2017 to 2018 consultant of the German bidding city for ECOC "Kassel 2025". Furthermore Leydolt-Fuchs has been able to participate in the competition for the German Capital of Culture 2025 - in an advising and consultative capacity or in the context of lectures and presentations - in general and in particular on the topics of citizen participation, audience development and capacity building. In this field she is also consulting the Finnish bidding city "Tampere 2026" in 2020 and the Portuguese bidding city “Azores 2027” in 2021.

Carina Kurta

*1984 in Fürstenfeld (AT), lives since 2012 in Marseille.

Studied European Studies, Art History and Museology at the University of Passau, the École du Louvre in Paris and the University of Heidelberg.
She was a member in the team of the organization of the Cultural Capital Linz 2009 and Istanbul 2010.
Self-employed since 2013 with CaP.CULT, her specialization in the European Capital of Culture is urban planning and its interstitial spaces, architecture and cultural heritage. In Marseille, she mainly organizes professional trips with architects, universities and engineering firms in France (Marseille, Bordeaux, Lyon, Paris, Montpellier) and European Capitals of Culture. In her second project, Carina Kurta is the director of  the "Ceija Stojka International Association", where she collaborates in an international team for the scientific reappraisal and communication of the work of the Austrian artist, Roma and contemporary witness Ceija Stojka. In this context, she works as a curator and publishes texts on the artist's personal diaries.

Specializing in architecture and heritage, she worked in various European Capital of Culture projects - Linz 2009 and Istanbul 2010. Since 2012 in Marseille alive, she dealt extensively with the European Capital of Culture Marseille-Provence 2013 - Urban Development, architecture and the associated change in cultural capitals. In addition to her work at CaP.CULT Carina Kurta regularly participates in international, intercultural youth exchange programs on current issues around the Mediterranean.
